Haha.. he has a perfectly good window unit about 15 feet away from the office just sitting on the floor waiting to be installed. If Mike could only find a "skilled" carpenter to cut a hole in the wall.

Plan was, and still is as we agreed, that the truck will be ready for your return.

No problem

If you need it faster or something just call Holly and we'll dive right in. We hadn't been on it yet as we knew you were overseas and wanted it when you came back and you dropped it off early so that it could be here for when we need it.
Ian has the list you and he went over and such, so no worries. If there are any changes or concerns just email me, otherwise it will be ready to head back to you before you arrive home.
Stay safe.

Some folks said they liked this truck, so I thought I'd post a finished shot of it. It left for CA today.

Its just the way LR makes them. They mount on top (or on the surface) of the body panel so they are "thick" because the windows slide, etc. The thickness also allows for the window track water drains, etc. They are not flush mount like most cars have.
Its basically the same window as found in the back of a 110 Pick Up, but there is a LH and RH.

Its a cross between a steering guard and a anti-submarine bar (keeps cars from going under the truck in an accident). Most of the later Euro trucks have them, must have been a Euro regulation at some point.

Its a custom mix. PPG did the formulation, but they do not catalog custom formulations.
