Fresh black paint drying in the garage. Can't wait to install all this stuff! I hate waiting for paint to dry!

Beautiful restoration. Well done! You're the first Forum member I've seen on Toyo MT's like myself. What size are you running? Are you adjusting your bump stops? I rub like hell with those big shoulder treads at 285x75x16.

Sam,

You and your brother have accomplished quite a lot in the 3 months since you started this thread! Thanks for keeping the updates coming!

Yes they are 285/75/16 but I'm using 1-1/2" wheel spacers to avoid rubbing issues. It has disco 2 rear springs in the front and disco 1 rear springs in the back which gave me a nice 1-1/2" lift all the way around. It's nice and even.

Wow the truck looks great! My next set of tires will be Toyo MTs my buddies that run them love them. They claim they are quiet with good road maners and good tread life (for a mud grip) yet pull great in the mud. They also come in a wide range of sizes (255x85 R16!) but are pricey. Anyway awsome looking truck!

More progress. I've got all the doors, rear speakers, roll cage and the spare tire on. I'm now installing the gutter kit for the badger top.

I bought a new Exmoor seat covers with foam from Rovers north. I've been putting off recovering the seats thinking it was going to be difficult. Turns out to be much easier than I thought it would be.

Got the Badger top put on! I had new windows sewn in all the way around. Now time to start doing some test drives and see if there's any gremlins to work out.

No. I see how it would be a good idea, but I think the side windows will be rolled up most of the time anyways.
