It was a Janey reference.

My new one is yellow all over. Why I end up with brightly colored cars/trucks when all I ever look for is dark green or black is beyond me.

OK well I got off my ass and finally did some work!

I got my new sway a way 14 inch coilovers in finally, so I got the drivers side one on.. heres some pics of it and the old rancho coilover...

Im hoping to ge my new Rovertracks rear links in..

I got the whole dash put back together after my wiper motor took a crap..

I also got my rear 1.5 inch spacers in to level it out.. pretty much ready to wheel her now..

Looking great. We will need to hit up some trails together. I want to see this thing in action first hand. It looks sweet.

OK new 14 inch 275 lb main coilover springs are on the way....

Im looking to get a little better ride, and adjustment out of the 275 compared to the 350. I have about 2 inches of slack at full droop to take up, so the softer rate will allow me to adjust the coilover down to make up the difference and still retain the same ride height..

Here some pics of it with both sway a ways on, and the winch mounted..

OK Finally after a long drought heres some more progress on the stretch..

I decided to use my rovertracks heimed rear links off the trug, and my stock disco rear drive shaft which was about 4-5 inches longer than the defender one, and with the disco shaft on it puts me at 100.5 inches... So far I'm liking it..

Tomorrow Im plasma cutting all the brackets off ( if someone wants them to make a coiler let me know!) then ill weld on my new brackets from the pictures...

We're saving that for mine.. I want 110 inches baby!!! Oddly enough it's easier to achieve this with the rear links that I want using a 90 as a base, stretch the frame 10" and the links 8 or so inches. Of course I'll also have no rear body apart from a trayback.. That makes it pretty easy.. Two seater only..
