Here is a nice article on the topic http://blogs.4wdandsportutility.com/...ade/index.html

I think Pendy may have someone that make even a "nicer" but similar system.

No doubt overkill but I have to tell you that the truck now stops on a dime with almost no fade and that's on OEM brakes.

I also needed it because I didn't want to rely on the vacuum from the alternator setup in the HS2.8 (requires the alternator to make vacuum).

Because it runs off your power steering pump you're going to want to make sure that is up to spec and running well.........Pendy upgraded my PS pump to some racing HD style pump I believe.

Here is a picture.

I've been driving the truck every day......I love this thing. Very, very happy.....so much win

I can't wipe the grin off my face as I get into it every day.

Will post some pics tomorrow regarding more details.

I just dropped off the grill to get powder......I went with same color as cappings, ie silvery/galvi color. I initially was going black but then you guys made me re-think and I thin it will be nice to have the contrast.

Mike has the full exo-cage for me and I'm waiting to hear from Holly on when I can ship truck up to have it installed...........although I've even thought of doing it myself!!!!

Put the cage on yourself. If your friendly neighbors will let you get any work done.

Did I say that this D90 gave me the tennis elbow. And I do not play tennis......

Year later bump. Any changes? Exo cage? Silver yet? Found myself looking at this and Matt's old build on this tonight.

John, just read all the threads linked to this! Wow, that's an awesome defender. I plan to do some work on my 97 ST and also keeping my eyes peeled for a 97 Arles Blue SW. I would like to trim it out like yours! Got any pics of the inside now?
