Rear Defogger

Okay guys this is hopefully my last question for a while. The I just got the 110 wed so I'm just trying to sort through a few items and this one has me stumped. When I push the button on the rear defogger the light on the dash lights up and power goes to the rear screen. But as soon as I release the button the light goes off and power is lost to the rear screen. The actual button never lights up. Any idea why the rear defogger won't stay on? I've checked the wires behind the speaker housing and everything is in order. Do you know if there is a relay or something that would prevent the rear screen to remain heated? Once this is done the truck should be 100%. Would like to get this figured out this weekend. Thanks in advance for your input.
RIP 1994 D90 #999 (engine fire 2002). We'll miss you.

Mine has the same issue. I think it may be a fuse related item.

If I'm not mistaken in the 110 when you push the front defogger switch it lights up on the dash binnacle and the switch itself does not light up. The rear switch lights up but does not have a light on the binnacle. If you pull the switches from the dash you will see that the front has a spot for the bulb to be added. I did this to mine so it would light up in both places. However my front defogger seemed to have an issue as well and would only stay on when it felt like it. I think it is relay related and not fuse.
Are there shocks that I can addjust up and down like my friends LX460? That would be very cool!
