IMEEK! What the F@*%? Sorry for asking! I figured there was more knowledge and expertise here then looking through google. Clearly this is not the case. Sorry for asking! I will go search google for what edmonds has to say?

No offense to the rest of you who have been very helpful, sorry that you have to be associated with such arrogance.

I was just ribbing you a little. Actually, click the first link. The wikipedia page has much of the info I think you are looking for.

Good luck, and take a deep breath.

Dan,

If you want to see what a 1984 90" is like in person you are welcome to come by my place and look at mine then you can go look at a NAS and you will have a better feel for the diffrences.

FYI, it looks like he has photo chopped atleast 1 of the photos and might be hiding stuff in other photos.

Thank you all for your help. I sold my Pinzgauer and am looking for somthing new to mess around with. I went to my local Rover specialist who also worked on my Pinz and got his 2 cents as well. From what he said, if I was to purchase one with the 2.5 non-turbo diesel I would be disipointed as they are dogs here in Colorado.

Linden engineering?

My 90 has the 2.5 NA and I will agree that it is slow

But I have a 200tdi in the garage

Buying a 2.5 n/a is ok because it is a fairly easy bolt in of a 200tdi defender motor. See Gkase's thread in the projects section. Others have done this type of thing too.

Yes it is Linden. I have known Dennis for years and he is helping me in my pursuit for a good starter D90. I like to tinker, so one that needs paint and other work is ok. I am looking for a d90 that I can fix up the way I want to do it over time but need it to get me through this winter here in CO.

I live a few miles from his place and drive by it most days.

Seems like a nice guy, need to go talk to him and see if he can help me adjust my injection pump for the altitude.

Dennis is a very nice guy! I would highly recomend him. He has worked on my Pinzgauer for years and is now working on my Late model Jaguar as well. He seems to really know his imports. He has a few d90 and 110's around there right now (customers vehicles - not for sale). It is a family owned business thus the Linden name(his wifes name is Linda) and it is nice to give the business to somone who really cares and takes pride in what they do. He really is passionate about Rovers and Pingauers and knows what he is doing without the price of the stealerships.
