Put a Kahn new grill on my 1984 D90 or not?

I've read a lot on here about the Kahn grill and headlight surround package. I like the looks of it but many people disagree.

So, I'd like to poll the group. Should I add this grill package to my 1984 Ninety?

Thanks!

Ick.

I'm partial to stock or to the Heritage style metal ones like Nakatanenga makes.

It's sort of like adding euro tail lights to a suburban. You can do it if it's your style but a lot of people just don't like it.

There's an ass for every seat but the grill on a defender is iconic and id add LED lights to a new stock grill before I'd start tweaking the face

Looks like the new Bronco prototype. Definitely looses the distinctive LR look

Honestly no there are other options that are much better.

BUT are you going to sell/give away your current one? I'll be at the convention center in mid October and could throw it in my luggage for the trip home.

I haven't decided on which grill to put on my truck yet.

If I change it out I will keep the original parts.

The bigger problem is that you would even consider it.

You just don't you like the OE grill? If you're spending $ at least get some functionality along with it. The SDO provides protection other grills don't.

AC, Plastic A-Bar, Kahn Grill, I think you bought the wrong truck.

Adding all this crap to a 2.5 84 defender gives new meaning to ghetto-tastic.

Embrace what your truck for what it is, a 1984 original defender. Nothing more, nothing less.

Adding this crap is like sticking an M3 badge on a clapped out 318i.

Always a D-Bag in every group, right BJF?

I was asking and have been gathering feedback. I haven't decided or committed to anything that I've inquired about. Sorry to have offended you D-Bag. Sometimes a name really fits.
