Yup, she's all but finished now... just a few little interior jobs to complete (ground anchor mouting, toolbox & jerrycan mounts, hi-lift etc. fit a fire extinguisher and mount my maglite)

Oh... and the small job of swapping the gearbox... mine is a little noisy and crunchy (although to be honest, i bought it cheap seconh hand, so can't complain really), going to fit a disco 1.2:1 transfer box at the same time.

Jim. Looking really good. More pics please.
What kind of bolts are you using on your roll cage?

will get some more pics posted up this evening.

The bolts are just the ones that came with the cage... M10 zinc plated, nothing special. They've not started to rust as yet but being on a LR they probably will.

From Evans P&P virtually identical to safety devices (even LR have started using them now)

Mine is a full external with an internal roll bar behind the drivers seat (pretty much identical to the NAS 110 cage really)

If you do get one.... ignore the template they send you out..... when you drill the holes in the "correct" position, they're not, and you end up with 4 M8 holes in the wrong place in your nice shiney freshly painted bodywork......

How does one go about purchasing such a thing, and if you don't mind me asking, what does it list for (NAS 110 style cage)?

Dan Evans makes the best cages, he made my cage for my racer, just email them and they can send you a kit, also the fit directly to your vehicle.

He's one of the chaps who drove a 110 accross the bearing sea.

Follow-up Post:

I can supply take out defender and discovery TD5 engines with looms and ecus for export.

I did all my ordering via email (Kim is the woman who deals with that), then a final couple of calls with my credit card.

couldn't have been easier.

My cage (which is more or less an NAS one), with the internal hoop, and with (my addition) of a couple of extra antenna mounts on the rear hoop, plus the "delux" kit (Which is the rubber feet where the cage touches the bodywork and slightly different shaped feet to accomodate this) was about 1700 (can't find the goddam receipt now!) including delivery (that was the best part of 150).. mind you, it's 'kin heavy!
