Anyone have suggestions as to how to remove the V8 stickers effectively? I pulled mine over the weekend but have a bunch of residue from the adhesive. How can I remove this without damaging the paint.

What's the best way to apply new stickers (prep)?

WD40 or googone, I have some other stuff but it will take the paint off if you rub to hard.

Try rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol). That should do the trick for both removing the "gunk" and prepping the site for application.

Dave, I'd say the best prep for the new stickers would be to repaint the truck. Portofino Red, of course...

Thanks DJ and Ken. Ken, you know how much I like the Porto. But the truck will stay Arles. It's had good karma so far for me.

LMFAO.....

Put it back together, if it runs you never really needed those 'extra' parts. LOL

BTW, those trailer wheels look funky under the D90 wheel wells...

Nice progress you made. Let me know when you put it together, I'd be glad to help out.

Can't let Randy have all the fun. We put the body back on my truck yesterday and started hooking up all the systems. It came out well considering it only took three of us....and the lift of course.

Here's what the truck might look like with 12+ inches of body lift...

I thought about it. And said NO.
