Oates

Hi.

Dale Knepp (rovertrader here) does amazing work.

And, he is a superb listener. That is perhaps more important in a builder. Super guy too.

I would like to say thank you to some great people here. They know who they are. Thank you very much for the past, present, and likely future help.

Jeff

It was the least I could do. No problem!

Thanks.

PPG paint.

Jeep Sahara Tan (current Mopar...)

Easy to match, repair, and in huge numbers on jeeps....so not likely going to be an issue in the future....

Going to pick him up tomorrow...what would people put in the basic tool roll to have on board. Have a 27mm and the hi lift if I flat...any other thoughts on tools. Put a wrench in, pliers, ...just don't know what sockets to have...

TIA

Have you ever tried to change a tire with a hilift? Body flexes (by design), wheels will stay right on the ground. Ditch it and pick up a cheap bottle jack from Napa/etc and thank me later.

Fantastic truck jeff! Pick up a small craftsman set, a 27mm socket and a breaker bar, a Jerry can, and an assortment of fuses, a relay or two.

I have lots of fuses..thanks...almost forgot to put them in the tool roll...have had a ton of relays over the years...what type do you mean? My brain goes to the square VW. Have had a 93 RRC LWB and a D2, so be patient with me...a lot to learn.

There's a ton of stuff. It has a lot of muduk, a 2" lift, basically an NAS 110 interior with a 90 dash and new AC. Heated windshield/mirrors/demisters....pant savers....door opening extenders...heritage grill....custom grean oval on the grill....ct front bar...etc. New consumables/fluids all around.

It is a real NAS truck.

It will be a DD and adventure truck.. wife is talking Moab. I don't plan to do nutty technical stuff in it, but I can see some over-landing in Oates' future. RTT, etc. The Hannibal was bought with that in mind....a better RTT platform than the NAS basket.

And some simply family stuff. Fishing. Camping. Just fun stuff. Every day.

Congrats, currently having my 110CSW being re-done, and find myself anxiously waiting for the completion and delivery of it. Do you have any before images of the vehicle?

Sort of taking "pre" to the extreme, but this is where it started....

It did, and actually that was the second time time it had beef 'salvaged'.
Found drivetrain last year, etc, etc. Too many projects, too little time....

Thanks for all the kind words above everyone!!
