C'mon Jeff... If you can't read the bit where it says.. That would have been my intention once I left the area but I did not go through with the sale.. And I was talking about why I unlicked the tyres....

No pizza for me... I fully expect a few bitches to jump on the bash Shayne bandwagon.. Gotta give the little dogs a chance to gnaw on a bone every now and then... I'll say it again for the slow bitches in the back of the class... Yes, I did state that... I said it a bit prematurely.. It was what I was going to do if I was going to leave the area without taking possession of the vehicle.. But at the time I was still trying to organize a local shop that was going to take the truck and dismantle it while I went back to the USA just to arrange a trailer to collect the spares..once that option fell through I decided not to put the deposit on it.. Hence I never did take anything except pictures of the truck..so I didn't lick it.. I didn't steal anything from it.. I didn't cut the wiring..I didn't back out of a deal on it..yadayada yadayada.. And just to be clear, the reason I unlicked the tyres..was due to the large tread separation dry rot cracks that were evident in the pic..top left of the pic..and the 5% not 50%... Jeez... Even John got that..,,!!!

Don't worry little Pomeranians and chihuahuas... I have a feeling something will be coming out realllll soon that is going to give you all the fodder you bitches need to bash me...until, that time.. Keep grasping at straws..

Yep.. Maybe a little premature attempt as a deterrent on my behalf to stop someone coming down before I could get back to it.. So shoot me..

You and Brian Williams should write a book.

No little pussies here. Your words were just confusing and you were blaming us for misunderstanding them. haha. I mean come on dude it was one of the sketchiest for sale threads here of all time, but you were telling us to trust you, and so we took your word at face value. You told us you'd taken the stuff to protect an investment that you'd never actually made. Again, no pussies here - we thought we'd found the new owner's ECU for him, and were just a little confused when suddenly you'd never had it.

Plain and simple, you are/were caught in a lie and are now trying to turn it around on the members who called you out. You took the ECU before you didn't take the ECU.

When the new owner originally posted his post I got in touch with him and clarified all of this.. Before you guys even jumped on the bandwagon, I am helping him with information that I know on the truck..had anyone else contacted me within a reasonable time regarding purchase of this truck from its existing location without me being there I would have done the same thing.. Yes, I was exploring the option of selling it or keeping it for myself.. And doing what I was talking of... But personally I didn't give a shot one way or the other, if someone wanted to buy it for parts after me finding it, then It would have been a good deal for both parties... It's called a free market...

Hadn't JSQ found it before you? Oh great here comes the free market argument!

Who.???.. I believe a guy had heard a story about it or something similar about it with a tow truck driver.. But that was on the original thread...I'm sure the owner of the truck had found it even before he did and before I did...but I fail to see a relevant point..

MEXICO Defender in BAJA.... Ruthless Licking and Unlickin'

I hope I'm doing this right, I may be posting this in the wrong place. I have been in contact with Shane (The Rover Shop) and PMing back n forth a few times. I have physically seen the ECU in the Defender mice elf... LOL I was concerned about Shane (the rover shop) stating he put a deposit down and "took" ECU and TCU... I've emailed him directly and at the same time (unsuccessfully) tried to call the prior owner and in the meantime PM'ed Shane. He clarified (as he stated b4 on the forum) that he'd said that in an effort to keep others from buying it. LOL I can't say I blame Shane, his MO may've been unethical, but funny as hell. We've exchanged few PMs back n forth and he turned me onto a company or a board member?? called MAZTEC?? That can "reflash" my ECU to delete the Theft Control Unit. Does anybody know anything about them?? I can't post pictures to this thread as much as I've tried. I would like to upload them so members can see the cut wires and maybe give me a few pointers. THX!!

We don't actually have to break it down again "for the slow bitch in the back of the class" do we?

I will only weigh in on Shayne when he starts his "Aussie Spec Mexican ECU 130 Upgrade for Around the World" thread.
