I never said I wasn't. It's headed to local hot dipper soon as I get the new motor mounts installed.

Old tranny and transfer case out and ready to be sent to the new owners

Also one last bit of patchwork finished. Waiting on my ls engine motor mounts then off to be hot dipped

Depending on the cost, did you consider buying a galvanized frame instead of working on the frame that was on your truck?

Sure did. This frame was pretty nice I thought and galvanizing is is 500 dollars. It also has the Vin stamping which I wanted to preserve.

FWIW Commonwealth Galvanizing like and want our Land Rover project business. They called me Friday asking if I had any work they could help me with. It just so happens I have 4 frames for them.
I highly recommend them and they are considerably less than $500 for a 90 chassis.

I wish I was back in Franklin county. Right now I am working on this rig in CA. Hopefully will be back in VA one day. I am going to email you regarding those shells. I did get in contact with the guy across the pond. My friend needs things galvanized for boat docks often. I will mention this place to him. He is in Altavista.
