Hello

Been working on my D110 for the past 2 months, in between moving into a new house and thought I would start a build thread.

I purchased this 1986 Ex MOD 110 3 Door from Foley Specialist Vehicles in the UK and imported it into the port of Charleston.

It is a totally rust free unit, 2.5 N/A Diesel with only 49,000km's. Stuart suggested an EX MOD collector would be the perfect candidate as he had never come across one in the condition it was in, with only one coat of paint, no rust etc etc etc.

It was born into this world a hardtop, but I had Stuart convert it to a new Sand Canvas top with windows before it made the trip, it also received tons of bushings, shocks, all fluids changed and a basic going through.

Nice truck! Looking forward to following your thread.

Interested in that front brush guard. Who makes it?
I am not sure, but I am considering moving to a winch bumper so it may be for sale. It looks like some of the camel trophy styles, but its mounted to a MOD bumper

2 Weeks ago I began to strip and prep the interior for Raptor Liner - Overall it was fairly easy to do, and came out looking great. A good bit of labor, but the end product was worth it

I then decided to strip the exterior and prepare to Raptor Line the exterior with the tintable project tinted in Land Rover Fuji White

After one coat =

Very nice find! But out of curiosity, why wouldn't you remove the seat slides and take the bolted up pieces (like floor panels and transmission cover) apart or, at least, remove the screws before spraying?

Picked up some 255/85 KM2's from a local Jeep guy for a great deal - will separate the wheels and sell them.

Also splurged and ordered the Rovers North winch bumper with LED's with the 4th of July Sale going on -

Began mounting up the rear seats -

Paint prep continues - Hope to have it fully dissassembled and sprayed by next Wednesday -

Billy,
Not sure if you are still looking for the 3 metal pieces and the 2 joining pieces that house the 6 way switch, but I just removed mine. You can have them for free, just pay shipping. I found your thread while researching raptor liner, specifically in lieu of new paint to the exterior. How do you like it?

PM me if you want the light housing.
