My D90 Project

Bought in an auction from the Military.
It has a 300 tdi engine block (no cylinder head) and an R380 gearbox.
Its my first vehicle

Trinidad? How's the Land Rover scene and parts availability down there? How's the climate on vehicles? Good off-roading?

yes Trinidad is an island in the Caribbean. There are a couple companies that stock land rover parts but they dont have a wide variety. There aren't many land rovers in Trinidad. The climate doesn't play such a big factor on the vehicles as we only have rainy season and dry season here. Doesn't rust too bad. Great off-roading.

yup quite a bit of work ahead. thanks for the welcome.
I only know of 1 person here in Trinidad who does repairs to land rovers. Other mechanics dont like working on them.

Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to rebuild a 300 tdi engine?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Progress...

Making some progress.
Sanded and Painted the roll cage and rear tub area with red metal oxide.
Finally took out the engine. Sent it to be rebuilt.
