my 37th and final piece of flair!

Just got her back today. New arb bumper, smitty built 10k pound winch, piaa lights, also new air conditioning system put in today which wasn't nearly as bad as I thought (800 parts and labor).

A little dark and a little rainy out there tonight.

that was my 36th piece of flair, so if you are going to make fun of me no they are not, if you like them then yes they are. I think they are pretty bling-y. The traditionalists maybe no likey.

it's the only chrome thing on my defender except for a 6 inch tail pipe piece. that's it!

I'd like to see the 6" tailpipe but have mixed emotions about the chrome letters!

More pics of the new bumper outside and from further away. Looks good.

Also, Jason - nathanwind - just posted some Boost wheels which you should also strongly consider.

Looks nice. Did it originally have AC? If not, details please!

I don't think it did, I think the previous owner did an add on. I got the new parts at discount ac parts.com. 275 for every single ac part, compressor, dryers, wires, tubes, etc. 400 or so in labor. not bad at all, my other system was leaky from end to end.

http://www.discountacparts.com/addto...t~60-01550.asp

the one tricky thing was we had to pay 33 bucks for an adapter, something about male and female parts not matching up (hate when that happens).

Kelly

PS Yes, I think I'm done, there is nothing left to do unless I want to get real tricky and buy racing car seats or something like that. Lord knows the seats I have now are less than cozy on those long drives.

haha, the side vents came with this thing when I bought it, I actually thought they were functional, but they are not. they are an applique. I'm afraid to take them off for fear of taking the paint with them and they don't bother me horribly much.

I have a set of the genuine letters (non-chrome and spaced for a defender) I never used if you want them I will look up what I paid.

What's that saying? When in Rome add some chrome? Thanks for looking out for me! I think I'm good for right now. I did just get some customized license plates though that say defendr1. Bad I'm thinking of the center hood checquer bonnet plate. But that's a maybe. Good lookin out bro, lol.
