More hybrid than your prius

I left a lot of work out.... (

but you can fill in the gaps here:

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/land-...gone-ford.html

when I got the truck into my shop:

started a complete tear down

blasted and chassis savered frame.

ordered some new parts

fabbed some shock towers

bought a 69 bronco chassis for drive train

other fab work

^^this was before I decided everything was shit and I needed to make it stronger.^^

motor at proformance: ended up dynoing 300hp and 400ftlbs @ like 2800rpm

bought some tools

redid all link brackets

exocage

made a plate system to mount everything nice and easy to unbolt also

sex

wiring =( not my strong point

new brakes

skid

got some tires

had to redo top links on front

rad mount

rear shock covers and tranny tunnel

paint

dash extension

before I smashed it to hell

I can't even explain in words how comfortable this truck is to ride in. On corum I could have fallen asleep while andy crawled over rocks the size of volkswagens

reworked the driver side top link, it was hitting the yoke when traveling upward, hopefully I can test it this weekend to see if it clears it now... no more broken yokes on the trail!

also drew up a little series model and tried to print it... but I may of broke it removing support material lol

Simon said "Andrew see if you can get some air up this hill" and then....

the weak link ( right top to frame - my fault never reinforced it)

bent a shock shaft... but we got air!!! lmao

Yea I was wondering , I have thought of doing something similar in the past . I figured I would need to laminate most of the frame to get the strength up. Very cool to see for the most part it's hangin in there .
