Headliner.... Lavalle or Rovers North?

I'm ready for a new headliner. Going to have it installed at the same time as all the stereo stuff.

Do I go with LaSalle or the Rovers North/Land Rover product?

Whatever you decide, and there are a lot of threads here to search from don't cheap out and recover. IMO it's not worth it in the long run and doesn't last compared to and "upgraded headliner".

I need a new headliner. The one I have has lost it's shape also.

Has anyone bought one from LaSalle? Their website is not that great but their Facebook page is pretty good. Seems like they have a nice product but not sure anyone has bought one yet.

I have a lasalle headliner for 1 of the 130 double cabs. I think Mark Kelgren and Dave Marchand both have them as well. High quality products from thin fiberglass. I'm not much on the newer oem headliners. Rover used a foam backed vinyl and time and heat break down that foam and the vinyl falls away from the backing board. I have seen some incredible headliners done with alcantara etc on old headliner shells. If I were going to redo an old one I would mix up some west system epoxy and thin it and paint the original fiber board on both sides to add rigidity, structural integrity, and also make it water proof. @ that point it would be easy to lay either a layer of fiberglass mesh or carbon fiber, (for a cool look) woven cloth over the shell.

I got the LaSalle from Brian @ Defenders NW.

Great tip...how do you thin it? I may go this route to save $

I have a LaSalle in my truck cab, for a truck that's going to see hard trail use I don't think you can go wrong with one, washable & if the roof leaks it's not going to fall to bits. You also get a location for a radio/cb and speakers.... Win, win !

I guess I'm sold on the laSalle.

How are the speaker pods? Should I order one with the speaker pods or without?
