Okay, so since I was on a roll I got the other side door all done, just waiting for the heavy duty stainless piano hinge to install the door.. This door will be the side with the tools and recovery equipment in it.

While waiting for parts to arrive I started mocking up the kitchen side, the left side of the truck will be where the most joy comes from.. My wife is an excellent cook and she really takes to the challenge of cooking on the road with local produce, we both love experimenting with different foods so this side is important..trying to make it as easy as possible based on the lessons we learned on the road for a year.. The engle fridge is a no brainer, it needs to go there...it's a little high for the wife but she'll make do.i may finish up putting it on a drop down cradle thing if they do one for a sideways mount.. Next to that is the cooking pantry and equipment area.. The left hand side is a slide out spices, condiments thing, based on using coke bottles as they are the most widely available size...most soda bottles are the same dimensions, so then if we break one or need something different it's easy to replace..plus they are made out of a really sturdy plastic and will hold fuel as well..these hold stuff we use in decent quantities all the time.. Flour, worcestshire sauce, olive oil, sugar, balsamic vinegar and other stuff..may need to make one shelf split for smaller bottles yet.this leaves a 20 inch shelf wall..in the wall slides the dual burner stove and 2 drawers for utensils and plates etc. then one shelf for the billy kettle and some commonly used pots.. And then the rest is for food storage containers. These are for commonly used foods like cereal (oat meals) pastas and sauce packets etc that we pick up along the way.. The best part is that the front of this pantry is closed off by the drop down table .. The table is approx 32 inches by 20 and pivots down thereby exposing the pantry etc..I may make a slide out extension at the end of the table that houses a wash up bucket.. don't mock my artistry...

The section for the stove slide in storage is written is an 8" deep 12x23 storage area for our cast iron cookware and pots etc

This depth of the cabinet was mandated by the depth of the stove unit and works out beautifully with the depth of the wheel well that protrudes into the box area.. And is flush with the rear door opening..

Shane, impressive planning and execution. Good choice and application with the 3M 5200. However, it should be banned from WM -- marine yards are rich from its misuse. LOL
What is the story behind that GT350 clone?

View from the other side.. The section above the fridge will be home to a slide out produce basket kinda thing..I think..can't obstruct the opening of the fridge lid

Ahhh, the neglected mustang..lol.. 95% finished for the last year now lol.. Original 1965 Wimbledon white auto with a/c.. A-code car.. I bought it and was just going to do a freshen up resto and found that it didn't have matching numbers engine so I went ape shit on it.. It's now a 347 stroker with nitrous oxide and t-5 tranny with chassis strengthening rails.. Cobra 13 inch front and cobra 11 inch rear brakes..fully adjustable front suspension altered to shelby race car specs..10" of rubber on the rear and 8 on front, bmw front seats and re trimmed rear seats to match, shelby tach and mount 3 amp alpine stereo with 10" subwoofer.. For crisp clear sound, not no African American booming, rattling, vibrating shit.. Complete interior dynamatted and sound deadening sprayed... There are some pics on the chit chat site under gear head and there is a pretty decent sized write up on vintage mustangs forum....blah blah blah...but it still has the a/c..

Fantastic work Shayne. Looks like you are going down the same kitchen/galley/pantry journey path I've been going down. I hope you may Expo East this year, I'd love to share notes.

BTW, I've moved my fridge to the back on top of my drawers and found it also a little high, but I position it on the left (for other reasons) and turns out the flip down Rover step allows perfectly located and easy space to access the fridge from the top. Might be an idea to mount on on the side under the fridge for her.

You and I are also thinking the same regarding prioritizing the bar! I'm envious though, as my gullwing pantry accomodates only 3 bottles of wine/liquor. The rest goes in a box on the roof rack.
