It will need to be repainted, I guess it would buff up okay but there is too may nicks and scratches... I honk I may just finish it off as I want and then decide what to do with it.. Thinking I will repaint the areas where the decals will go, install the decals and tape over them, and then rhino liner the whole truck in g4..

Well, at least you won't have to worry about getting hit from behind. (And yes, I did think about saying not getting rear-ended but that would have sparked a conversation that would move this thread to the Mud Pit).

Is that the Td5 rubber matting on the seat box? I've been contemplating putting that full mat set in my truck, in combination with some bulkhead/footwell rubber matting to cut down on sound/heat/etc.

Jason,

I have a set of the factory tdi/td5 style rubber bulkhead mats. They are thick rubber and cover both footwells and the center section of the firewall. It's two pieces that join underneathe the fuse panel.

Won't fit my truck without cutting so I'll probably never use them.

Let me know if you're interested. I'll see if I can figure out what I paid for them but it's been a while, so...

Yeah, just in case nobody sees the massive orange truck with tons of shit...-oops, typo- *kit* bolted to it and a giant cloud of chip-tuned (or is that chip grease) diesel soot coming from the tailpipe.

On second thought, yeah you should probably keep it- those road train drivers back home might be distracted by Gustavo's future mistress sitting on the passenger seat. Of course by that time they will be past the chance of a rear-end collision. Wait maybe I should rephrase that...

If you want to hear a quiet truck, take a ride in Brad's. He's got the sound deadening recipe figured out.

Just like my ex wife.. He can have my current wife when I'm done with her...he's used to sloppy seconds..

Oh, and there won't be that much "kit" bolted to the outside of it..this one is being built to house just about everything inside.. I don't want Pedro and goose relieving me of my "kit"..

Sized up the beadlocks to see if they will fit..I think they are going to be too wide for the rears.. Will probably sell them off, thank goodness I have another set to use..
