Bit more work done on the spare tire carrier...

Spare is held up nice & high, leaving access to the rear winch & tow hitch. Will mount a 3rd brake light into the middle of the carrier frame. Made it easy to load too, the darn thing is rather heavy to lift.... or I'm just getting old !

Replied on D44... but for the benefit of the D90 crew the rims are from Stazworks http://www.stazworks.com/

Amazing work and project. When you get bored, will you start building stuff for the rest of us?

Swapped the welding torch for a soldering iron & made up the fuse box & loom for the Megasquirt.... need to get it onto the engine next & finish it up, then to finish repairing the main wiring loom.

Sorry... nope... next on the build list is either an alum boat or a single seat rock buggy

Few goodies arrived last week... nice pair of D44 truck cab harness mounting kits, not cheap but saves so much fab time... why re-invent the wheel

And a Gwyn Lewis hydro assist kit, yet to be mounted.... will be interesting to see how it performs with the 35's in the rocks this summer

Thanks.... the attention to detail is directly inversely proportional to the nagging I get from the wife for spending money on it....

I feel your pain on that one. That’s why my 94 project is STILL sitting in storage and boxes almost a year after I got it. Well maybe there is some time and space issues in there as well but I will blame the wife anyway…

Looking good though Andy.

Been thinking about the Glen Lewis steering on my 90 as the aired down 37s are hard to turn at low speeds. Ill be watching your install and see how it goes.

Got the rear shocks mounted & checked the articulation for clearance, once I get the bumps mounted into the tops of the spring seats should work out good. Have kept the springs under a little tension on full droop so they don't rattle

Also added attachment points to axle for centre limit strap & option of rear winch as suck down.

Thx... is not just if it can turn them, the ram helps share the load so the PAS box doesn't carry it all. Prob overkill for what I'll be doing with the truck but better than walking out the bush in bear season
