Go Bill go. That's one hell of an overhang - maybe add a red flag too.

Briggs, don't you have a house to build? I think we need updated pictures.

Just dropped 70 % of the stuff at the paint shop. Today going to finish up the bulkhead repair, and the other middle door frame

That's the original one. It was sent to the stripper for derusting and paint removal, which was great. Had to take out everything between the door posts. The door posts are in need of some touching up as you can see.

The tan bulkhead may be rebuildable but will need quite a lot of demolition, a trip to the stripper and much new stuff welded in.

Now that the entire bottom is available, anything with a decent top is salvageable.

Getting the footwells in the bulkhead. The repair parts from RN are really fitting poorly and it's not my lack of skill. Oh well it's what I got and I'm moving on. Who cares if the drivers side is 3/8 ths out of line? Not me, specially after its buried in dyna mat and avocado green shag carpeting.

Good to hear you are making progress.

Right here's the fookiin bulkhead all done-e-done. Full day plus on that.
Other pics are showing the sill finisher piece I am bending up using my quickie brake. Next step is to weld it to the t piece.

Galvanized goodies. One casualty: the original Brownchurch ladder now looks like a pretzel. Not heartbroken cz i never really liked it, and they said they'd galv for free the new one I make. Another thing, which I should have foreseen, is the filler neck vent tube which was soldered in, is probably at the bottom of the zinc tank.
Otherwise all ok. Lots of cleanup to do on these bits, clearing holes and drips and slag slugs.

Dropped off the bulkhead, the t posts, the bonnet frame, a middle door frame and the cross grab bar.

Hauled the stuff from the first galvy run to the barn. Found hubs from Briggs waiting in the mailbox. Scraped and painted them, along with the other set.
Cleaned up a lot of galv drips and globs on parts. Used up two wire wheels.
