Oh, one other major accomplishment that isn't really Rover related. Got my 1954 vintage Evinrude Fastwin going. Starts on the second pull. Now I have a decent kicker/trolling motor for the Allmand.

I am sure I saw somewhere a website with pics that showed exactly where to weld in your engine mounts for a 200 Tdi. Now I can't find it. Kinda would like to see that one again.

They will be galvanized, then epoxy primed and top coated with two part poly in limestone.

Over here they are as rare as an honest Englishman, so I want them to live a long time. I'm prolly going to be outlived by this vehicle.

Chassis work. Got all the stuff off it, down to just the chassis.Nice to have the loader to flip it over for priming. Using Awlgrip 545 epoxy primer. That schmidt is a hundred bucks a gallon and the activator is 85 bucks a gallon. The thinner is 27 dollars a quart. Faaaak.
I paid the price for taking too long with spraying and clean up....extra two hours tacked on to the ride home.

PS You may spot the incredible extendo-buks. They kinda fell apart during the flip process and had to be rebuilt.

Spent the entire weekend wrenching axles and got absolutely nowhere. The "official" 110 axle is missing the right side swivel housing, hub, basicly all the schmidt from the swivel ball outward.
The rear Sals is in good shape, but I need the proper hubs for it.

For the moment. Hope to get the 2A assembled pdq, so I can get rid of the Mazda Ranger POS

Thinking for a hot second that I could do the paint myself. Fool. Handing that off to a pro.
