Finally getting on the door cards. Got the hardboard roughed out today for all four doors and the middle seat back. Had enough left over to do the carpet liner on the RRC tailgate.
I'd like to seal it all up with thinned epoxy before putting the vinyl on.
Also found a nice rubber mat at lowes for $25 it's 3x5 and fits perfectly!

Epoxy coated the hardboard door card roughs. I used System Three resin thinned with equal part Xylene (3 oz resin/hardener and 3 oz Xylene). It soaked right in. Next step is cutting the reliefs for the hinges and fasteners.

No movement on them for the time being. I have to redo all the clips first. They need de-rusting and zinc plating. Hope to get that done this coming weekend. I will prolly put on another coat of thinned epoxy while I'm waiting.
Rob Bass loaned me his pneumatic Scorpion upholstery stapler. It shoots these 1/8 inch staples so it's perfect for stapling the elephant hide to the hardboard and the staples don't poke thru.
I am contemplating the deletion of the armrests and the lower door pocket. I never found either of those features particularly useful.

That's a beauty! So what method are you using to seal the horns to the turbo?

Door cards in prog. Note deletion of useless "arm rest" and door pocket.

The masonite was treated with two coats of thinned epoxy for water resistance.

I made all the templates for the bulkhead from gator board. I haven't cut the material as I am still trying to figure the joining of the hardura. Gonna try sewing first.

Door cards completed. By order of the project manager (Sarah) I spent the weekend getting these done.
