With a mere 4 hours on site I was able to get the air compressor repaired (new set of capacitors on the motor...$40), install the heater control valve with the correct BSPT widgets, button up the dash for the final time, and to top it off my boxes with the seat kits arrived on a Saturday! Good times!
Just a quick trip to show the BIL around as he was in town for some high school thing (Georgetown Prep) and wanted to see the 109. Back home by 3.

Amazing. Are you going to run sliders or sills? A set of deep sills or the deep galvanized sliders would really look nice.

Still needs a road test. Slight oil leak coming from somewhere on top rear of engine. Will track that down next time.
Still needs floors tunnel cover rear seat seat belts Tuffy box cb radio hvac and hardura trim. Huff is doing sliders and front bumper. That ones temporary.
Almost there.

I know you're a glass-half-empty sort and only see the flaws, so it's cool I get that.
It's upside down so I don't nut myself when I am at the tailgate. Yes it's ugly but it has sentimental attachment.

Looks fantastic, Bill! It's obvious how much effort you put into this truck, love that rivet work! Wheels look great as well. Btw is this the truck that got the speedo that you brought to HH years ago?

I just looked at the beginning of this thread and you started the build nearly three years ago! Really happy for you, sir
