Bringing a camel back from the dead..

Well as some of you know I recently purchased a pile of parts that used to be a camel trophy defender 110... It was agreed upon at a certain price so i sent a rather large deposit and then after a couple of weeks delay from the snow storms I flew up to Virginia and went to look at it, well it was a far cry from what I had been told over the phone and there were a lot of parts missing that were supposed to be there... A new price was agreed upon and everything was loaded up into the back of a uhaul van and then the vehicle was loaded onto a trailer and off I went on my 1400 mile journey back home....

All the original body parts as well as the new brownchurch camel trophy rack and all of the old and new safety devices roll cage was just thrown in there.. ...trust me, couldn't have done anymore damage to it.. This is what she looked like after sitting in the jungles of Belize...

And here is what I was being told it had been "partially restored" to.. Supposedly new body panels as well as new .....blah blah blah...

Subscribed! Post pics of the panels you have. The pic in Belize actually doesn't look that bad.

Francis Coppola has a Camel Disco sitting at Blancaneaux Lodge in Belize. Last time I chatted with them down there, it was in need of a water pump.

I'm really looking forward to seeing her all back together. Did you say you are aiming for completion in two months?

I don't get the difference in color. How is this going to be a Camel truck in the end?

The body panels you see on there are the ones that had been put on it recently.... And are now completely stopped off.. I will be using as many of the original panels as are immediately saveable..

Good luck and God speed! This is a bit of a crusade to save these vehicles! You're kinda like a red and camel tan version of the Blue's brothers, trying to get the band back together!
