Nope. No tdi here. Only bmw MPower. Lol. Here is the double reinforced bmw torque converter installed in the rover 4hp22 with bmw bellhousing. Also the accessories installed with custom mounts to accomodate LHD. No mods would be needed on a RHD.

Anything is for sale at the right price. But we do not need to sell it. I drove it one more time with the 1.6 lt230 case installed........it is just heaven! Plus it is completely rebuilt!

Those headers :

I love that a tough looking 109 climbing a hill has the same sound as Bimmer coming out of a turn.

Very good option for series or defender. Especially RHD. Most reliable engine in the BMW fleet IMO. Very good MPG. Decent power. Decent torque. Lots of tuning options including turbo and supercharging. I believe that this combination of drivetrain is almost bulletproof.

On to the disco frame mods. Rear section removed and series added

And now we stretch. Clamshell steel with factory style opposing angle cuts.

Are you using the bellhousing for the M20 engine? How'd the orientation turn out? If you want it rotated more to the right you can use the one for the M40 engine.
