Beach Runner 3 build up

Just because I know it drives a few people on this site crazy... here is BR110 #3 in progress.

Those doing their own will be able to follow the pictures and get help from them if they need it.

Custom color?! Is it at least going to be a LR color? Even a series color?

Series(ish) color (a tanish/Limestone)... old school Series Rover vibe to the project (as much as can be done with a Defender 110)

Really?.... It had spray foam all over it, I can't imagine anyone paying for it. (?)

I'll see if I can fish it out of the trash.

The doors were rotted hard core... dumpster bait.

I am sure the heater, doors [and door tops and latches] would be more than adequate for my needs. The doors cannot be that bad and they are already white which makes them perfect for swapping on during the summer.

I called today and placed an order for 3 name plates. When I called it should take about 2-3 weeks for shipping. I was told they are formed from cast ali and about 6-8mm thick. we shall see. If they do not ship to the US let me know

Not that bad. Would have been better in Limestone, but it's not ofensive like the Mary Kay or Blingy Blingy D's that have been posted before.

I don't know, I think the color will come out looking good... It needs to have a ton of black on it though breaking it up a bit... I've always wanted to see a rover in a good tan color, the ones I've seen haven't been impressive.

Ah no, you need to see this thing in person. Tan would be "nice". I walk around with a vomit bag.

It'll look fine with the quality of paint you guys do anyway. Sometimes it's nice to go off the reservation every once in awhile.

Yeah, the customer is. I learned tht lesson working my way through college in a clothing store.

Casey,

I think you will be suprised when it is done. Tan series rovers look top notch, especially when faded out a bit lighter than the roiginal as this color appears to be.

Aw, that will look fine - in a special-ops sort of way. See if the customer will buy a WMIK roll cage and then you can save the NAS cage for another project.
