Sorry for the late reply , my shocks are fox 2.0 . The valving on the rear is 60/90 and the fronts are 45/90 with flutter valves .
Rear is a little soft.

that's catalog material...awesome photographs.

btw are you running rovertym front springs or are you using high-rate rear springs in the front, ala OME 2781 (290 lb/in) or 300-340 lb/in progressives?

This rig has spent a lot of time the last few weeks getting a work out . Rock sliders and cage have proved to be a savior on several occasions . I'm really enjoying this build and find myself wanting to drive it instead of the 90 .
Next item on the list is rear corner protection , I think I'll Fab up something that matches the sliders .

I am serious jealous of all the pics of this build in action. Color, stance, exterior cage, amount of protection is all just right.

How does the 4.2 so moving the 37's? I was hoping my Om617 would be able to turn 35's but from reading it seems the 255's will be the max and I will have to keep it on a strict diet.

Also how is the Detroit on road? You probably ride a lot of dirt roads up there and it must be nice going off road and just having things locked.

Real nice build and even more so I love see it getting used for how it was built!

The 4.2 moves this brick around just fine , we have a stock 94 90 and they feel about the same as far as power goes . With the 1.67 transfer case it's almost to low with the 35 s.
I would stick with the 255s on your OM617 that's what I run on mine and that's about all that motor will pull , and that's with 4.70 gears a T176 and OD.
The detroit is just fine for everything but tight turns into parking lots , at times you get a bit of surging . But other than that with the wheel base I really don't know it's back there .
There is a the slop the Detroit has that makes the drivetrain feel clunky if you aren't used to it . So there is some Cons to running this setup , but I don't plan on changing it .

Thanks for the props we love the truck and plan on using it all over Alaska .
Ed

Wow! Those AK mountains make a great backdrop. Seriously cool pics.

Thanks for the feedback in the prior post. It's great to hear what works on a build.
