It's alive !! Drives great and things went well until the power steering input shaft seal started leaking . Replaced that in chassis .. No fun had there . A few quirks to work out and bolt the rest of the crap to if and it should be ready to hit the ALCAN !

Where in Alaska are you located? I'm in the anchorage area. I'm looking to get into the defender market and wouldn't mind coming and checking yours out!

I'm 20 miles north of you in Chugiak you are welcome to stop by . I have 5 defenders here now that you can look at . If you have anything your thinking about looking at in the states I maybe able to have a look for you while I'm outside. I will be west of the Mississippi :-) .

Looking fantastic Ed, great work. Did you use RR Classic shock mounts in the front? Or the TF kit?

Thanks , here is a few pics of it getting ready for the alignment . I let Kathryn talk me into a roof rack , It's small and light weight . So for this trip we will be sporting an old expedition outfitters alloy basket . I'll post up pics of the road trip and report how it goes .
Thanks

For lift it's about 4.5 " a combination of OME RTE etc . A combo of parts with a safari gard 3 link .

This thing drives killer !! Have 2k miles on it on some of the bumpiest roads around and she floats along at 65 with ease . I can't tell it's a three link except its really smooth . Not sure what the hype is about three links driving bad ? I'm not even running sway bars . I need a little more rear shock valving to help with rebound . Still a work in progress , but happy so far .

Great Job Ed!

Ed Angel has worked his magic on my 95 Beluga black ST.

I am fortunate enough that I can afford to send my vehicle to any of the well known Defender shops on either the west or east coast. I choose to have it stay here in Alaska to have this Master Land Rover expert or Defender "whisperer" work on it. He has redone much of my wiring, suspension and drive system and it drives better than my wife's Supercharged Range Rover.

For those of you who are able to, especially if you are on the West Coast, I highly recommend, that you ship your Defender or Series truck to Alaska for best quality work.

Great to hear! I am sure the feeling must be great after getting it all done.
