It looks perfect!
Just as like as the Solihull productions look alike.

I've tried to stay as original as possible to this point but budget is getting very tight. Add to that my wife threatening to stab me last night after I bought a new brake servo and tailgate parts.... I may need a support group.

None of you live close enough that I can hide parts at your house! I'm not sure what your definition of a land rover support group is but that's the first criteria!

The first step is to realize that you are not alone, there are others. Even when she is screaming at you about "why can't you be like everyone else?" referring to all her girlfriends husbands that play golf, wear loafers and drive Lexus, BMW's or Escalades.

My brother is in Damascus so I'll be down there...... If I can find back roads, I'm naturally aspirated.

Really? Do let me know if you're ever in town. I keep Rover project support beers in the garage.

You are definitely not alone! If it is not out of sight, she will be out of her mind.

I bought my 110 to replace my 97 NAS I had sold when my dad got ill a few years ago before I met my wife. She had "given me permission" with a "Fine, do whatever you want!" Which I took at face value. I was a fool.

Since then, she's treated my truck like a hot ex girlfriend that still calls from time to time......

I have to call Brian from Defenders Northwest from the other room, speaking in whispers like I'm making a drug deal. Packages shipped to my office instead of home. Hidden accounts to fund the restoration. Picking up fasteners on my lunch hour. "What are you looking at on ebay?!"

There are no forum members nearby to share a beer with, or turn a wrench with. Bellingham is full of Subaru driving hippies...... I am alone.

Here's a shot of the aftermarket heater.

------ Follow up post added May 19th, 2015 07:48 PM ------

Fuel system and brakes hooked up. Tailgate going in and little stuff getting squared away. Wiring this week hopefully.

That's all you're going to tell us about it?

I had mentioned it and provided a link in the registry. Came with the truck plumbed into the tub. The original heater motor was toast so we built a shroud and are going to give this one a shot. It blows strong and hot. Hopefully it's a good replacement for the LR heater. Everyone I know up this way carries a squeegee in their defender to defog the windscreen, I'd rather not have to.
