Scrapped my 97 RR after 200K+ miles

I had some time Saturday to work on some shock spacers. The OME 2+ shocks were limiting flex. Due to the mounting style the previous owner made some brackets to mate up the shocks. They have a 2010 manufacture date on them and limited miles so I decided to keep them for a bit. I went down to scrap yard to find some rectangular steel. Came out with some 1.5x3 for $1. Can't beat that. I have a flux core welder so I did my best to box these in but still needed access to the bolts inside.



I didn't take a pic before but now the suspension travel is not restricted. Now I get about 45", fender lip to ground, before the tire wants to lift.
