That reminds me of a joke I hears...this guy, drives into a bar in a discovery and....wait.. Was it.. There's 3 guys in land rovers, ones in a discovery, ones in a freelander and the other cool guy is in a defender....

Then someone unknowingly will ask what about the guy in the RRC? Silly he also owns the Defender.

There's 3 guys in land rovers, ones in a discovery, ones in a freelander and the other cool guy is in a defender, but the defender guy is outside still because his rear cross member fell part due to spontaneous corrosion, someone dented his 17sq feet of 5 bar and most disconcertingly his oil lines caught on fire because he didn't spend $300 fixing a problem the inferior Rovers don't have...
Fixed the joke for you.

I'm glad that there are still people out there that like and appreciate the Disco. It's not a bad looking vehicle and quite capable.

I don't resent driving mine. Though at the time I bought it, there was a yellow NAS D90 used on the lot for a little bit more than the new Disco.

Jay - that's pretty slick. You think they still have the measurements to make another? I could use one for my truck. Ballpark figure on cost?

So california has decided to remake the CA black plates again which is interesting because this weekend at the hot rod show we were at they were selling original black plates for 100's of dollars so not sure how those guys feel about it

maybe something like this for the D1

Great looking Disco! We didn't get the Trek edition overseas, but like you said, with the CT vehicles so difficult to get a hold of, even over here, its nice to see the other editions being appreciated!

Jay, just found this thread. You sent me a yellow "Discovery" decal for my '97 XD. I didn't realize the work you had gone to on restoring your Trek! I need to get some of those decals as well for mine, they are fading and cracking pretty bad. I also picked up a Warn XD9000i and a winch plate, hopefully soon, I'll put it together with the brush bar just like yours. Love the Trek/XD rigs, great job keeping them alive!

I really need the Land Rover hood decal for my Eco XD, and the yellow discovery sticker for the brush guard, if it is not too much trouble.
