Honestly I never understood why guys spend so much time trying to sound proof a soft top. A SW I understand, it just seems pointless on a ST.

Speed $40 to Dynamat the doors. It makes a big difference. Makes whatever speaker in there sound better, too.

I'm going through a color change paint job on my 1995 soft top right now. This is both inspirational and helpful. I'm galvanizing the bulkhead and the cappings on the tub. I was not aware there are so many additional pieces that could be galvanized.

Paul, congratulations mate, great job.
Did you have any fitment issues with the bulkhead after galving. I have heard they can buckle a bit. Could be just a nasty rumour that gets around.
Also did you have to drill any bolt holes bigger to make way for that galvanising. In the past I have had to drill out the gal holes which isn't the end, but not preferred either.
