Door lock linkage fail that happened in PGH repaired. Central locking and key fob back in operation, yay me!
So only things on punch list besides paint are door card refurb, rear deck carpet and stereo.
Oh and tires. This set has been on three trucks and it's time.

Updating progress. All interior back in. Only things not working are seat heaters, radio, cruise control and the missing EAS. Those will be addressed in the near future.

Interesting new prob. No dash illumination. Suspect the dimmer. Means taking stuff apart. Blah.

Stupid previous owner trick killed dash illumination. This was a challenge to troubleshoot. I thought it might be the dimmer since the wire diagram shows it's first in line. Took lower dash apart. Dimmer Ok. Check fuse again. Fuse bad. Replace fuse. Pops immediately when lights are switched on. Oh boy that means a short somewhere.
Look at wire diagram what else is on that circuit? Rear passenger tail lamp. Undo tail lamp and check wires. All good. Unhook and try light switch again pop fuse. Arrrrr.
Only thing left is the trailer wiring. So I pulled it out and it looked like scotchlock HELL:

So I pulled out all that madness. Thanks whoever for all the silicone grease! A little clean up with xylene and some self stick tape and that's that.

Still? So it wasn't the trailer harness? When my dash lights went out, I spent way too much time chasing it. Kept blowing fuses. I finally gave up and let Carlos deal with it. Took him a while, but he eventually found a bad common ground under the dash that was the culprit. It's been fine since.
