1988 v8-d90

Ever since I was a little boy, I've always dreamed of having a Defender D90. With that said, I finally pulled the trigger and had two of them shipped from the UK to VA. It saved me a nice chunk of change doing it this way, specially since my intention was to keep one and sale the other.

Here they are:

The day they arrived

I'm also big into Jeeps, specially TJ Wranglers, Cherokees, and Comanches.

I just sold one of my favorite Jeeps. Yes... I admit it! The wife made me do it.

How much did you spend on your Defenders? Any reason you went RHD import instead of LHD NAS already here? Red one looks nice and bright. Welcome.

Diego sounds like a guy with practical experience and can see through the LHD ratings as well as Silly NAS asking prices. Josh, maybe you should offer to show him yours before you ask to see his. Just saying...he's a new guy to the forum and one can get taken back with a question like how much he's spent on his toys.

nathanwind, Just let me know when and I would love to come down and meet some fellow LR owners.

Jwillia, Thanks.... I,ll Definitely continue to post pictures as I continue to upgrade the vehicle/s. It all depends if I keep them both or just one.

rijosho, They were not cheap, but definitely cheaper than buying one NAS LHD with low miles and the options that I wanted. The red one only has 59K miles and the green one has 70K miles.

LHD is for jerks ! Seriously though...RHD is much more fun (at least I'm still digging it at the moment).

Instead of replacing the steering wheel, I came up with this idea. Yes, its wrapped with paracord.

It came with that after market bumper form the UK, so I have no idea. The bumper is about 3 times as tick as the OEM.

I ran one continuous line all the way to the end. The I tied a knot back to where I originally started, cut, and finally burned the ends.

Black wheels definitely look better.... The roof will also be painted black next.

Thanks! The chassis has been completely undercoated. I will be Monstalining the interior before spring, just to make sure that it also becomes rust free. I'll post additional pictures as the progress continues.
