the G makes the 130 look like a little boy's toy! I wonder how the two would compete going head to head on the same expedition trek? When I was in Moab there was no shortage of BIG Jeeps but I didn't find myself wanting one and thought the D90's and even the Disco's would give any of those Jeeps a run for the money. That G is one sweet looking vehicle, no doubt about it.

I wish they had some pictures of the inside of the bed. I'm wondering how functional it is.

The G500 DCPU is completely custom and unique and it has all the benefits and drawbacks as such. It's more of a radical interpretation of what a G500 could be rather than a G500. It's been used as a show truck and has less than 7500 miles. At its price point, I doubt its capabilities will ever be tested.

The 130 is iconic and true to its original design with a few upgrades like the cage. It's been a fun project and come a long way from where it started. It should be complete in the next month or so and shipped across to the States.

Is yours sitting at 6'8" (80") tall or is that just the generic LR 130 stats?

Generic.

Wonder how much it cost to build.

At $99k, I start to think crazy thoughts.

It was built off a US-registered 2002 G500 so import to the US is feasible. And then I realize that it could never fit in the garage unless I get rid of the 5 Rover bumpers, three sets of rims, etc.....

They are 235s and will be swapped out to 285s on new rims when the truck gets here.

Not sure yet. I will have at least one extra set of tires and wheels when the 110 and 130 arrive. I'm going to get 285s for the 130 and the 110 has a set of Coopers on it that will probably be the spare set. I will let you know when everything is in and sorted.
