I missed getting it painted in June, so I had it powder coated flat black. I like the look, looks mean, plus its a crappy hood.

Front End and floor plates are in!

I have a few weeks off so I'm actually getting some work done.
I think I have a bit of a setback as the front springs may be reversed. I have the Driver side on the driver side, but I think its labeled for a RHD truck.

The truck fired up today, it ran awesome, hardly smoked, just gotta work out some issues with the fuel return setup, and iron out some wiring

I think the hood in gloss black would look badass. I like that two tone look black on blue. Great project

Baby stepping

Had a huge headache with the freeze out heater, which I think is sorted
3100087 part number for the 200tdi was a pita to get in, I remember it being much easier on my 90
had to drop the fuel tank again and change the sender.
Had to put some flare on to make it feel like I made some progress.

where did you get black ones? I have only seen stainless or black factory ones. They don't look factory.

Are you keeping your front middle row seat? Do you have any parts extra? I have a right hand drive 1983 110. Did you originally have a 300tdi? I have a lump with an lt77 engine and am purchasing a 300tdi is this better?

Bit of an undate

Got all the wiring figured out, one of the grounds (RH front wing harness) ran through the ECU which is gone.

Lights all work, it even has interior lights, unlike my 90.

Dash is going together, interior looks good, just waiting on an interior mat.

I got a kit for the bonnet mounted spare but the bump stops made the tire sit way to high so I modified the bumps lower to get the spare lower.

Getting close.
