What are they doing?

The roof and interior didn't look bad at all when I saw the truck pre-Conclave

they are only doing the "green" on it. I was very PARTICULAR with the owner. Told 'em, any overspray and they will be taking it off, and doing it right. All the yellow stickies are "no painto"...had to ablo Pedro with the guy who was going to prep it.

Then told the owner to take personal responsibility for my baby

Fingers crossed I guess.

Nay Sayers beware MAACO works. Holy cow, they did a great job! Ok there were two drip issues I found that they sanded down. So ok not 100%, but I am extremely happy.

Of course others will chime in from Thursday Happy Hour.

Or Rick Newman is coming by tomorrow for a stove install and he can.

Check it out. NO OVERSPRAY.

Most paint jobs look good when they are first done. Report back in five years and let us know if it still looks good.

Hey Lav = $970....

Hey Jimmy...you get eat your "type".... You will be able to see the overspray from 20 ft.

I would recommend this place to all the NOVA guys. As MAACO is a franchise - it all depends where you go.

FWIW - this one in Sterling VA had a '67 Mustang, and a '67 Cougar in it - the owner said both had 4 layers of paint and 4 layers of sanded clear coat...they were absolutely stunning - the paint job was astonishing! Owned by a football player for Redskins - so he wouldn't let me photograph them. But he did say that most of the peeps who came in were more interested in my LR

BUT I agree with Jimmie. From previous experience, let's see it in a few years.

My Defender was repainted a few years ago, and they did a really good job, IMO. The being said, the right side of the tub is peeling badly which started out as a small bubble in Seattle in March of this year. It doesn't take long for a paint job to deteriorate if it wasn't done properly.
