Exclamation New account problems? READ READ READ before emailing

If you just signed up or are having trouble registering an account, PLEASE READ:

If you are running into a problem with registration:
Due to massive spambot registrations, I had to install much tougher spam filtering measures. If you are running into a problem with registration, send me a message with your email address and user name you are trying to register with, using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.

If you just created a new account but are getting the following message when you try to post:
Quote:
You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page.
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
Heres, why:
When you sign up for an account, you are required to validate the account via an email message that is sent to the email address that you used when creating your account, before you can start posting. Your account will not be active until you click on the validation link in the email sent to you. Many email services like AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, and others, are known to filter these confirmation emails into their Junk/Spam mail folders. If you don't see the validation email within 2 hours of creating an account, you will need to check there. If you try to post before you have activated your account, you will get the message above.

Also, with the rise in the amount of spamming accounts being created again, all new users accounts will require manual approval moderation. This means, if you just created an account and confirmed it, you will need to wait until the account is manually approved, before you can start posting.

This approval is done strictly when I can get around to doing it, as my daily schedule allows. If you try to post before your account is approved, you will get the same message as above. Please don't email me with "Hey I signed up for an account and it says I cant post". I'll try to check the queue a few times a day and get accounts approved as soon as I can.

For those of you with SPAM ARREST or any other email blocking type software that requires the sender to confirm that they sent an email to you before allowing emails from the domain to get passed through, you need to add "d-90.com" into the softwares settings of allowed domains. With the amount of fake links in emails that lead to crappy spyware install sites, viruses, porno, or worse, I will not click on any links in such emails to acknowledge that the site did send something out.... It will be up to you to make the additions or have your host add them.

Lastly, accounts not initially validated within 5 days of creation will be deleted.

Thanks!
