Time Zones and Time?

I am assuming this is the correct area for this question. Seems like the times for postings is incorrect.

How does the site calculate time? By poster timezone? server timezone? Seems like there is a huge gap in times when there should not be.

Time is EST, but DST has not been adjusted to reflect the correct time

my first post for this thread was 7:37pm and yours was 8:06pm. I just posted the first message 15 minutes or so ago.

Its now 2:15pm. So 5-6 hr difference for DST?

Current time is 3:24pm est, however the site is 1 hour advance (4:24pm). If you see your first post it was 3:37pm. Hope that helps.
