Please educate me on how to correctly orient my photos in my registry please.

You can download the GIMP software its free and works pretty much lets you correct anything. Then re upload them.

It happens to many people. If it happens to you, download the photo back to your phone off the forum. Edit the orientation then upload again after deleting the originally uploaded photo.

Apple devices don't actually change the orientation based on how the device is held, they just place a tag into the image telling the viewer what's up and what's not. It's seems that when things get uploaded to the internet sometimes these tags get removed, or the browsers we are using don't bother looking at them.

You can install a free photoshop express on your phone that I think will actually rotate the image instead of just adding a meta tag to it.

Another interesting note, if you crop an image with the built in iPhone editor, it doesn't actually crop the image.... it just adds more meta data... the full image is still there, your phone just don't show it to you anymore.

Tried it to no avail but the photo wasn't actually taken from my phone, I copied it off of craigslist. I am able to rotate images in my photo editor on samsung so will take new photos anyway since I see it every day.
