That's not the issue. It's a D-Source software issue.

I'm pretty sure that is the issue. Rotation set by the exif. The forum shows the real orientation. Can happen with posting from any Apple OS.

Regardless. The problem is using exif coding to set rotation which is an arguably bad and confusing practice. You just need to make sure the image itself gets rotated. I'm sure there are tons of programs and apps to do it automagically.

The thread was asking how to fix it and not to complain about the forum software.

"You can prevent any rotation issues in the future by taking your iPhone photos and videos with the volume buttons pointing down."

I just naturally use an iphone that way because the lens is "up" and on the left side...

I suppose you are right but that is not going to happen so it is best to teach how to fix things yourself.

This should be correctable in software, since EXIF contains orientation info.

If this isn't a flag in the admin panel, I'd be surprised.

Solution download rotated photo off forum. Then edit your photo by rotating. Then delete and replace photo.

I didn't know you could delete already uploaded photos while editing your own post. Must just be the app that makes things a pita!

Strange, but I believe you. But when you lean to the side, do your texts show up in italics? ;-)
