LR3/4 Section

Looks like more and more of us are getting in to the LR3s and 4s. We need an LR3/4 Tech Section please.

That would be nice. I know we have had some good write ups come out for various things already.

So what. Doesn't mean it can't be suggested again. Otherwise the way forward it to just keep posting LR3/4 stuff in the Defender section.

Why do we have a Series tech section?

I don't care if we create a tech section or not. It's just a suggestion. I'll still continue to use Defender Source for LR3 classifieds and tech.

Why post the sale of your LR4 here?
Like suggested before, make it an opt in mud pit thread if there is a concern of diluting D Source.

Well there is a series tech section bc now all square rovers are claimed by Defender folk even though just a decade ago never the leaf & coil boxes would meet...

...after all, that's how there was 2M defenders, by counting back to HUE...but I am just stirring the pot.

I get my LR3 tech from D3.uk, expo, & Dweb (in that order), though it wouldn't hurt to do it here too I suppose.

Could we partner with D3.uk for that section?

I vote no.

I get Defender tech here.

There's already enough www's for RRC's, D1,D2, D3, etc....

It's going to be hard enough when the new Defender gets here.

Perhaps, or shunned. Either way, it'll be warranty/dealer maintained for the first few years minimum, so we've got time. But if the new D is halfway decent, they should register it not as "HUE," but rather "PHEW!" ;-)

FWIW, I value the advice of many members here on the Source more than some (not all) of the advice I've seen on the other sites. Perhaps that's just because I 'know' the crowd here better and don't frequent the other sites as much... no offense, Chris.

Exactly, and by making an LR3/LR4 section you would welcome those unwanted members you refer to.

As the serach function on this site is so poor, I do not think a D3 list is a good idea. Have had my D3 for three years and use the D3.UK site. But using the D3 header/title that is already here could be of use?
