Logoff timer

Can we extend it indefinitely.

Literally I 'log out' every 10 minutes (or whatever it is) and have to log back in a hundred times a day.

The odds of an interloper getting to my computer to maliciously post under my D-90 handle are literally zero, security be damned!

Hello there,

Is this setting within our forum? or your browser logging you off because of security issues?
Can you clear your browser and cache and see if there's any improvement?

Best regards,

Ed

Hi there,

Its possible your browsers are set to clear cookies regularly. Have a look in your settings to see if this is the case. You could try testing on Chrome also to see if you remain logged in.

Hey Guys,

I changed the session timeout from 15 minutes to 30 minutes. This should help you guys out : )

If I check the "keep me logged in" box when I sign in it never logs me off. If I don't it logs me off after 5-10 min if inactivity.

Same with my tablet.

if you select this before you log in, you won't be kicked out unless you clear your browser cookies.

Haha. Yeah that one.

I was already logged in before my post. I guess I just got too lazy to log off and check.

Hello there,

Please try Lee's advice on clicking the "remember me" box and clear your caches and cookies.
After that, please let us know if you fixed the issue.
Note, the timeout session is not bumped up to 30 minutes.
Please let us know if you guys are still having difficulties.

Best regards,

Ed
