License plate

I 'm curious if anyone out there have any ideas on attaching a plate to the front of a Rover defender 1994 with out drilling holes in the front bumper. I've looked for brackets , but have not seen any for that year.
Thanks

Confused what you mean by you haven't seen any brackets for that year. License plates have been the same dimensions for many years now. Buy a universal license plate bracket. If you have a winch, search for my old post on attaching the license bracket on the roller fairlead.

Picture of what bumper you have would also help.

You could just zip tie it to the front bumper.

Magnets. This way I can also pull it off when wheeling so it does not get crunched.

They are 25 lbs each and have a nice screw mount on the back.
I think they had up to 50lb.
On the interstate at the rev limiter in 5th...it stays on.
I also cut some e-tape to cover the magnet face so it could slide around and not scratch.

I like those magnets. Chuck make sure you use stainless steel hardware. Also, when looking for a license plate bracket, there's really no need to look for a 1994-specific license plate bracket - that was where you had me confused. Just buy one of the universal ones from Amazon or the like.

So there was no way from the factory with the OEM bumper to attach a front plate? I find this hard to believe. If anyone knows how this is done correctly please chime in. I have the same bumper (94) and have two holes in the top part but not the front for mounting the plate...

Mag-Lite holder plastic brackets.

I don't know about the o.e. brush bars...but they snap right on the old Safari gard tubes.
