Looks like Rob is looking for some Android testers. If you are interested see the thread on his support forums:
http://www.forumrunner.net/forum/showthread.php?t=236

I see the new update so I will update it this week on the server. Thanks for the heads up. Not sure why I didnt get the email notice.

I started a thread specifically for the Android version. Please post up in there for Android related chat or if you are going to beta test with him: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...d.php?p=245550

iPhone users, I upgraded the server side package and found that pictures in threads are not displayed properly. To fix this simply upgrade the Forumrunner app on your phone from the App Store.

I'm actually heading down to SC for the Clemson/USC game (it's over Thanksgiving weekend and my parents still live in Easley). Couldn't pass that up!

Hopefully we'll upset them - would be a huge upset... but I'm not holding my breath. :-)

FYI: if anyone is using an older OS on their iPhone (like me), you may have noticed a problem loading the app. Rob just released a new version in the appstore today that will fix you up so you will need to download the latest version. The Appstore for some reason didnt see that I needed the update so I had to manually download/install it but it did recognize that I already bought the app so no additional charge. (My phone has been going squirrelly lately so you may not have the same issue I had)

I think it's similar, but it's cross-platform (I'm an Android guy ). Forum Runner is only iPhone as of now.

chris, any update on maybe running tapatalk? A saltwater aquarium forum I follow runs it and it's really good. Much easier than dealing with safari.

Funny, I actually got all my other forum admins to add Forum Runner due to its awesome native iPad-ness, unlike tapatalk which looks like doo doo.

I only use forum runner these days. It's so convenient. Both on iPhone and ipad. The "current threads" is very useful.

I only wish there would be more interesting forums, other land rover forums or a kayak forum for example. D-90 is the only forum I have on there.

Their logo and splash page looks like ass though. They need to do something about the demented stick figures!

Not sure what you mean by pay for it? Per push notification? No. If you buy the app, push is included...you don't have to pay a fee everytime a message/alert is pushed to you.
