Question Defender 110 on Ebay (Import)

Guys

Need some help. I am in the market for a 110 and came across this import in Ebay. The seller is claiming the vehicle is registered in Wisconsin but I get a little weary when the photo shows Euro tags. What are your thoughts? Run away or Bid?

Cheers
Gregg

There are plenty of things about that 110 that turn my stomach, independent of an A plate slapped on the back. To each his own.

Titled as a 1989 (range rover I presume) is problem 1.

The pics do look like wisconsin though.

It clearly says it's a 1997 titled as a 1989. That sounds legit to me!

1989 titled as what? If not Defender (highly likely a RR as previously mentioned) then insurance can be an issue.

Otherwise the color/custom interior can be "undone" or tolerated by someone (not me) and the truck itself seems sound and in the USA. If it was going for $24K and titled as a Defender, I'd consider it...
