Articles older than 1 hr marked as read since tapatalk

Ever since I installed Tapatalk, whenever I return to this site all articles older than hour are marked as read. It doesn't matter if I've been away for a day or a week. It also doesn't matter if I visit with the browser or Tapatalk. What gives?

Use the "timeline" feature in the left column.

Dont use Tapatalk anymore. The own forum app works well. But I did notice that a mobile browser will point towards Tapatalk now the own forum app.

Yes, it's very annoying. If I don't use Tapatalk then I get an annoying popup every time I come to the site. At least other sites only ask you once - defendersource asks EVERY time.

The web site works well enough for me.

That doen't address the problem. The articles are marked as read and I haven't read them.

I'll be uninstalling Tapatalk after this post.

Is there some setting in tapatalk that causes it to refresh the forum periodically? Like every hour? Something you can turn off.

There was something about checking for watched articles. That was on, but turning it off did not make a difference. Also, I never had any articles watched.
