that is a bad ass looking truck
So your passenger side mount sits on the tire pivot. Wouldn't you worry about the load on it?

It's not much different than other mounts. That spare tire bracket has a reinforcement plate on the other side, not to mention the added support of the tire carrier itself. The majority of the weight on that point is in the vertical plane as well.

Very nice rack. Now is the ladder just for show, or can you actually climb up on it?

I had a tire blowout about thirty minutes after getting off a trail. Wasn't too bad I was only doing about 45 MPH when it blew out. But it was out in the middle of nowhere on the fourth of July in 98 degree heat. FML!!!

I finally got my Wolf Fabrication rack mounted with my RTT. I really love this rack! Jonathon did a great job fabricating and customizing my rack to work with my current RTT setup. I went with open sides since my RTT is large and cantilevers open to the drivers side. I still have room for gas cans in the front of the rack as well and a high-lift mount on the passengers side.
Very happy with the rack! Thanks Jonathon!

The best part is the whole setup clears my garage by 1/2 inch!

Are you going to continue to make these indefinitely? Im moving next summer, and will definitely want one at that time. For now, though, i have no where to put it when it's off the truck.

Thanks

Yup, I'll still be in business, hopefully! Look me up when you are ready.

Your defender looks great. The rack and RTT are sweet!

I'm hoping to check out Jonathan's work in person one of these days. I've got a RN 3/4 rack on mine and might switch out for one of his X Mod racks if I can get her in my 7ft garage without having to remove the base. It's a big peeve that I can't get her in my garage .

Gery,
My X-Mod rack measures 82" tall without the sides mounted on my D90 with a 2" OME lift and 33" tires. That's 2" shorter than 7ft by the way.

Gery,
Thanks it is still a work in progress but I am pretty happy with it. I still have to work out suspension a upgrade. It was pretty spongy before the RTT and now you can really feel the shocks and springs are tired. Your Equipe setup is the stuff!
I am sure you will love Jonathon's work. He did excellent work on my rack.
