That sounds perfect. Mine is a bitch to get to after putting on the air conditioning panel to fit the huge rad/intercooler.

Anyhow, I"m trying to gauge interest in this version of the grille so I can determine what kind of quantity/numbers to run for it. I know I've got a few folks queued up already, but thought it may help to bump the thread and see what the interest the population has so I don't under or over shoot production numbers.

I'd be in for those. I think the finger latch is far superior to the later cable and I have been retrofitting them on trucks.

Essentially the "cutout" is currently designed to be ~5.5" x ~1.5" at the top of the grille, and I just want to make sure that it's deep enough top-to-bottom to get enough meat on the lever that sticks down.

OEM LR Lever hangs down ~3" from the top of the grille panel
~3.5" for your RH arrow
~5" for the overall height

Pics of the "cutout" version #2 of the Front Grille...this is before they go to be form-rolled (to match the curvature of the Defender grille surround):
While it doesn't look all that bad as-is, and some folks may prefer a more plain looking version, the plan is for the final/finished product to have the "Solihull" badge fit in a quick-release fashion over the hole/cutout:

SDO new front grille & other products
I wish you guys made other aluminum/metal bits to complement the inner door handles like external door handles, interior door latch pulls and door lock/unlock pieces. I like the quality feeling of this work and banishing the plastic bits that you touch and handle frequently and feel janky.
